ASCE signs cooperation pact with Federation of Lebanese Engineers

Building on our rapid growth in Lebanon, ASCE and the Federation of Lebanese Engineers have signed an agreement of cooperation that opens the door to a number of joint activities, including co-hosting a possible international conference in the Middle Eastern nation.

"Our successful cooperation with FLE will now offer members of both engineering organizations even greater opportunity and benefits, said Distinguished Member Paul Boulos, one of the driving forced behind the agreement for ASCE . "I believe this agreement will do even more to help both ASCE and FLE support their members and enhance the engineering profession."

The agreement is a positive reflection of ASCE's efforts to expand our global presence. ASCE in Lebanon has expanded from creation of an International Group there three years ago with FLV's help, to its elevation to a Section with more than 900 members last July.  Lebanon Section page on ASCE.org
