ST. LOUIS SECTION Consulting engineer, community building commissioner elected an ASCE Fellow Recently retired as a senior vice president for a St. Louis-based consulting practice, William E. Manz, P.E., F.ASCE, has been elevated to ASCE Fellow status by the Society’s Board of Direction. Manz, who served on several ASCE structural design and construction management committees, was employed as a building commissioner in the economically depressed town of Wellston, MO, for 12 years, facilitating minority involvement in rebuilding their community.
